         4. current and future development of patient navigator programs
             open session with luncheon:
              - Overview of Development of Patient Navigator Programs
              - Presentation of practice program projects from training participants. 
             Speakers: Barbara Bond, EdD, Tufts-NEMC and program participants
             Date/Time: Wed., Mar 28, 2007 starts at 9:00am till lunch
             Place: 8th floor atrium meeting room at Tufts-NEMC (atrium 8002)
Place: Tufts-New England Medical Center (800 Washington St., Boston)
FEE: $280 (Fee will be waived for employee/ volunteer of any non-profit organization. Must attend at least 3 classes.) 
Scholarship Program: Available ONLY to the Vietnamese American Civic Association, the Greater Boston Chinese Golden Age Center, the Boston Senior Home Care, the Boston Chinese Evangelical Church, the Chinese Progressive Association and the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center. Each partnering agency will receive one scholarship/stipend award. Each designated scholarship recipient will be guided to complete a practice program and the 4 classes mentioned above. Total practice program will not exceed 20 hours.    
Requirements:
         - Good command of English. Classes will be conducted in English.  
           - Willingness to improve skills and increase medical knowledge.
           - Bilingual staff working with related health care services are preferred.
